Car Emissions:

Your car's exhaust could find its way inside the car. The exhaust could contain pollutants such as carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxide, nitrogen gas, and carbon dioxide.

To help avoid having any kind of health risks from car emissions, make sure to have your car properly tuned. A properly tuned car not only good for reducing the amount of air pollutants, but it also helps your car run at its optimal performance.

Air Ventilation System:

Your car is equipped with air ventilation system for heating and/or air conditioning. The ventilating system has a fan that brings the out side air and forces it through the ventilation system.

Most newer cars have cabin air filter that traps most dusts from circulating inside the vehicle. Overtime the cabin air filter could get clogged with dusts and bacteria. Change your cabin air filter as needed to prevent bacteria from growing.

Car Interior:

The car's upholstery and carpets could be sources of indoor air pollutants. A typical car gets used through all four seasons. Dirt, dust, humidity, and spills could contribute to mildew and mold growth.

Your best defense is cleanliness. Try to clean and vacuum as often as you can. If you don't want to clean it yourself, you could always bring it to professional cleaning services.
