Once you've taking out the seats and all door trims, you have plenty of working space to take out the carpet.

Here are the steps to take out a 2004 Camry LE carpet:

Step 1: Take out is the front seat belts. You'll need to take off only the bottom part of the front seat belts. Pop out the plastic cover and remove off the nut.

Step 2: Completely push out the driver's seat wiring harness through the opening.

Step 3: Pay close attention to the gas and trunk release latches. When you're ready to remove the carpet, pull the carpet over theses latches first.

Step 4: Completely push out the passenger's seat wiring harness through the opening.

Step 5: At this point you have remove all carpet attachments. The next thing is to pull out the carpet. I found that it's easier to remove the front end first because the front end has tighter fittings.

Step 6: Take out the bottom sound insulating pads, and dry them under the sun.

To put back the carpet, just follow the reverse procedure.
