The driver's foot rest and side wall cover are simple to take off. You could take them off less than 5 minutes.

Here are the steps to remove the driver's foot rest covers:

Step 1: Take the black plastic nut off, which is located just above the foot rest.

Step 2: The are no metal screws holding the side wall in place. To remove it, just pop it straight out.

Refer to Step 3 - Step 5 of the passenger's side wall covers for instruction on how to remove the side wall plastic retainer.

Step 3: Pull out the foot rest. Notice that the retainer nuts may not come off. They could stay stuck on the bolts. Just use your hand and twist them off.

Step 4: Once the retainer nuts have been removed from the bolts, just push them back into the foot rest slots.

To install the driver's foot rest, just perform the reverse steps.
