Removing the center pieces such ashtray, gears, and hand rest covers require some patient. Take your time when removing the plastic covers. They could get scratched or cracked easily.

Step1: Safety always comes first. Make sure you block the tires with wooden or brick blocks to prevent the vehicle from moving. Then firmly applied the hand breaks.

Step 2: To remove the cup holder open the lid and hold it with one hand. Use the other hand to grab another part of the cup holder's wall and pull it straight up.

Step 4: At the bottom of the cup holder there are two screws that you'll need to remove.

Step 5: Double check the wooden tires blocks to see if they still secure your car from rolling. The you're ready to release the parking gear. Use a small and clean-edge flat screw driver to pop up the gears release button.

Step 6: Push the parking gear release button and carefully remove the gears cover. You may need to pull up a with some force, but be careful not to scratch or break the finish.

Step 8: The are four screws that hold the bottom of the hand rest. Two screws on the left side and two on the right side.

Step 9: Disconnect the 12v DC power supply for the hand rest.

Step 10: Detach the hand rest by pulling straight toward the back seats.

Step 11: Remove the ashtray by pulling straight up.

Step 12: Disconnect the lighter connection.

Step 14: Remove the upper cover.

Step 15: Disconnect the 12v DC power connection.

Step 16: Unscrew the two bottom cover nuts.

Step 17: Remove the front covers first.

Step 18: Pull out the hand rest. Now you have successfully removed all covers.
